Hyenas make a variety of vocalizations including wailing calls, howling screams and the well known “laughter” used to alert other clans from up to 3 miles away of a food source. Hyenas are typically about 35” tall and weight 190lbs. they live about 25 years and can be found through out the savannas, grasslands, woodlands and mountains.
